Why Pre-plated tin material?
Stainless steel is with similar shielding effectiveness of nickle silver but cost is lower a lot then nickle silver,only one serious problem the solderability of stainless steel is really bad.
Tin plated based on stainless steel material solve solderability successfully,however post tin plated has risk that deform the shield and cost is high,it have to be pre-plated which is make tin plated on raw material of stainless steel.
Pre-plated material is also available for any other material.
